The BB Jersey app (the App) is developed and maintained by Sound Culture Ltd T/As MissyRedBoots (MissyRedBoots) on behalf of States of Jersey Police at no cost to the user. The App is one of a series of Backup Buddy mental health and wellbeing awareness apps designed for UK Police and Emergency Services.
This page informs users of the App about our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information. If you choose to use the App, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the App. We will not share, rent or sell your information with any third-party outside of our organisation, other than as necessary to facilitate your use of the App, unless if requested by the police or regulatory bodies or legal advisors.

We want to inform you that whenever you use the App, in case of an error in the app we may collect data and information on your phone called Log Data through third-party services. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilised, the time and date of your use of the App, and other diagnostic data.
Any email addresses listed for organisations in the App are the responsibility of their owners and using them to enquire requires sending your personal data to those organisations whose own privacy policies will apply.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory. The App does not use “cookies” explicitly.
